Department of Horticultural Science

The Department of Horticultural Science provides an extensive academic and research programs focused on production and improvement of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and ornamental plants. Accordingly, students are trained to become competent horticulturists and horticultural scientists, thereby contributing to the economy and general quality of life. The graduates will be able to work in various areas such as research, extension, and adminstration in agricultural sector, seed companies, agrochemical companies, and public agencies including research institutes.
Our curriculum are tailored to the diverse areas and cover horticultural production, biotechnology, and applied technologies. These are all parts of our effort to meet the industrial and social demand by fostering professionals who will lead the horticultural science and industry that integrates with a wide range of knowledge:
